Upcoming Donor Coordinational Council on Education Sector

The Donor Coordination Council Meeting (Education Sector) will take place on 12 February 2026 at the RUMI Hotel in Dushanbe, with hybrid participation via Zoom. Organized by the European Union Delegation to Tajikistan, the meeting aimed to strengthen coordination mechanisms in the education sector by reviewing the performance of the Coordination and Analytical Unit (CAU), discussing upcoming Local Education Group (LEG) priorities, and advancing the development of the DCC LEG Coordination Platform.

Key highlights includes the presentation of UNICEF survey findings on CAU performance, updates on upcoming LEG activities, strategic discussions on the LEG.tj Coordination Platform, and alignment of donor coordination efforts with the Competency-Based Education (CBE) Roadmap. Participants engaged in setting joint actions, sharing responsibilities, and identifying next steps to ensure a coherent, transparent, and effective coordination framework for Tajikistan’s education sector.

The meeting combines presentations, strategic discussions, and collaborative planning, emphasizing stakeholder engagement, sustainability, and alignment with national education reforms.
